JUNE: BYT ON THE STREETS

BYT is so proud to be hosted by The Old Market (TOM). In our humble opinion it's Brighton's most exciting arts venue so you should check it out if you haven't already:

THE OLD MARKET

BYT is now taking to the streets to promote our upcoming August two week intensive acting workshop. Perhaps you've see our posters around town?

Places are still available!

It will run from 15th August - 26th August 2016. It's open to any aspiring actors seeking professional training, aged 17-25.

ARGUS ONLINE FEATURE

It covers how Fred and Tom, BYT's co-founders, met whilst teaching on Guildhall School of Music and Drama's International Summer School. They've since joined forces under the aim of bringing a professional youth acting training to the 17-25 year olds of Brighton and the wider Sussex area.

"The thing that makes us different to the other offerings out there is that we are all young working actors, dancers, choreographers and writers, which sets us apart from the rest. We ourselves are part of the profession, a family of young professionals."

APRIL: BYT on the BBC!

Our very own Fred live and direct on the BBC Radio Sussex airwaves chatting with the lovely Allison Ferns about how BYT and how it started!

Fred explains how he started his own career as a professional actor in Brighton Dome Youth Theatre, which has since disbanded. Brighton Youth Theatre aims to offer the same affordable and professional training that he received. An ideal step for anyone aged 17-25 keen on applying for drama school or just to gain a taste of professional acting experience.
